Well, Many of you own a truck and or SUV. We all know what they are made for... Work. Well some times your work may take you somewhere that isn't quite safe, Such as the side of a busy road. Well a great way of making your presence known is with strobe lights. I plan on getting more but for now the corners do. I have a whelen 6 head 90 watt strobe controller. I'm only using 4 of the 6 heads, One in each headlight and reverse light. I plan on a white light bar in the front and back, along with a amber traffic adviser in the back as well.

The video doesn't do them to much justice, but they are blinding at night.

The light's are all categorized by there Temperature, 4300K being perfect white (they say) 10000K Having more of a blue tint. The most common temps are 4300K, 6000K, 8000K, 10000K. I personally have the 8000K's on my truck. HID's are awesome in so many ways. Not only to they help you see better and further at night, But I have also noticed that they bounce off reflective things (like street signs) almost a mile down the road. Not to mention it sets you up for the fun encounters like I had last week. I'm behind a car, next light im next to him, He says "Sir your headlights are improperly aimed" I responded with "Sir your car is improperly Low".

This is a Picture from inside the cab. Notice how much brighter my lights are then the car to the left with standard halogens.
